Home / Local Projects take Aim at Systemic Racism and Inequities
The Center for Children’s Advocacy will work to bring about several educational and juvenile justice reforms, including eliminating suspensions and expulsions of children in kindergarten through second grade. Meanwhile, Make the Road Connecticut will try to build a parent-led campaign to engage parents who speak languages other than English and Spanish. Both projects will receive about $50,000.
