CCA Statement on the Shooting in Buffalo

CCA stands in solidarity with the victims, their families, and the Black community over the horrific shooting that took place in Buffalo this weekend. It goes without saying that nobody should have to go to the grocery store without being a victim of violence – yet, because of structural racism and white supremacist ideology in this country, people of color are not afforded that level of safety. As an organization, CCA is committed to dismantling systemic racism and promoting equity and justice for all the youth we serve.
