CCA Lauds Passage of HUSKY Expansion in State Budget

During the 2022 legislative session, one of CCA’s top legislative priorities was the expansion of Connecticut’s HUSKY (Medicaid) insurance program to cover all undocumented youth until age 19. While this proposal did not pass, advocates successfully lobbied legislative and administrative leadership to include a limited expansion of HUSKY eligibility. The state budget expands HUSKY eligibility for all undocumented youth up until age 13.
