CCA Attorney Marisa Halm has been named as one of the recipients of the Connecticut Law Tribune’s 2022 “Game Changer” award. The Game Changer award is given yearly to attorneys who have been “a positive force for change” and “has affected public policy or best practices.”
As Director of CCA’s Youth Justice Project, Marisa represents children and youth who are involved with the juvenile justice system or at risk of involvement, and works to ensure that they receive the education they are entitled to, whether in the public schools, in alternative or therapeutic programs, in juvenile justice facilities or adult correctional facilities.
