CCA Response to Shootings in Atlanta

The Center for Children’s Advocacy extends its deepest sympathies to the families of the victims of the mass shootings in the Atlanta area, six of whom were Asian.

While these atrocious, heinous acts of violence have not yet been determined a hate crime, CCA urges local and federal authorities to ensure that an independent investigation of the incident occurs swiftly and thoroughly.

CCA stands in solidarity with the Asian community and denounces any and all actions of racism against members of our Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) and Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities.
